This months super juice / smoothie recipe: Woman in fitness wear with vegetarian food


1 x small zucchini

1 x handful of fresh basil

1 x handful of sprouted seeds

1/4 of a peeled pineapple

2 x tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

2 x tablespoons organic coconut oil

1 x tablespoon of flax seeds


Just pop everything into the blender & go…

*Sprouted seeds, my favourite are broccoli sprouts, they contain 17 different nutrients, broccoli sprouts are an excellent source of vitamin K, folate, as well as protein & fiber. Sprouts have a much higher nutrient concentration than a seed or a plant. You can make them yourself by placing the seeds in a jar with cold filtered water & changing water every day. or you can buy them at the store. I prefer to use whole flax seeds, the blender knife breaks them apart & you then get the benefits of both the high fiber content & the hormone balancing properties of the ground flax seeds.
